Oblique Crunch V. 2

Lie on your back with knees bent and feet flat on the ground. Place your hands behind your ears. Lift your shoulder blades off the ground and simultaneously bring your left elbow towards your right knee. Return to the starting position. Now, lift your shoulder blades off the ground and bring your right elbow towards your left knee. Repeat these alternating crunches.

How to perform the Oblique Crunch V. 2

  1. Set up. Set up in a stable, balanced starting position appropriate for the Oblique Crunch V. 2 using your body weight.
  2. Brace and execute. Brace your core, control the descent, and move through a full pain-free range of motion while emphasizing your abdominals.
  3. Reset. Reverse the movement under control and reset between repetitions, keeping your form crisp on every rep.

  • Move with intent — every rep should feel deliberate, not rushed.
  • Drive force through your abdominals rather than momentum.
  • Keep your breathing steady: exhale on the hard part, inhale on the reset.
