Burpee Power Sled Push

Sled MachineIntermediate

The Burpee Power Sled Push combines a burpee with a sled push for a full-body workout.

  1. Start in a standing position with the sled in front of you.
  2. Perform a burpee by dropping into a squat, placing your hands on the ground, and kicking your feet back into a plank position.
  3. Complete a push-up, then jump your feet back towards your hands.
  4. Stand up and push the sled forward with both hands.

How to perform the Burpee Power Sled Push

  1. Set up. Set up in a stable, balanced starting position appropriate for the Burpee Power Sled Push using your sled machine.
  2. Brace and execute. Brace your core, control the descent, and move through a full pain-free range of motion while emphasizing your primary working muscles.
  3. Reset. Reverse the movement under control and reset between repetitions, keeping your form crisp on every rep.

Coaching cues

  • Move with intent — every rep should feel deliberate, not rushed.
  • Drive force through your working muscles rather than momentum.
  • Keep your breathing steady: exhale on the hard part, inhale on the reset.

Common mistakes

  • Using too much weight and losing positional control.
  • Cutting the range of motion short and missing the target muscle.
  • Letting your spine round or hyperextend instead of staying neutral.
